Vintage: 2005
Varietal: Petite Sirah
Appellation: Dry Creek Valley
Winemaker: Antoine Favero
Winery: Mazzocco Winery
Varietal composition: 100% Petite Sirah

Tasting notes:

Blackberry liqueur, spice and vanilla aromas  lead to a fleshy palate that is reminiscent of ripe cassis and black cherry. The tannins structure on this Petite Sirah is round and plush, weaved with flavors of violets and leather, with hints of raspberry tart and toasted oak.

Winemaking notes:

The grapes were hand harvested and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Bottled unfined.
